It's hard to believe I beat Galrahn to this one (though I'm sure he's talked about it in the past), but SECNAV is now on the record promoting the importance of Facebook, Twitter, etc., (less than a week after the USMC nixed them on their networks) mostly it seems as a way to connect with the demographic we wish to enlist. Secretary Mabus is spot on here, and the network security guru's should be working overtime to figure out how to work this one out in a way that promotes security and access.
