This ship and a minor RoE change combined with some political support can solve the piracy issues off Somalia in a hurry, and I don't care what kind of radar the Somalian pirates have, they would never see it coming. Ever looked at a LPD-17 through a commercial radar system you might find on a privately owned ship? If you ever get the chance, check it out. You'll ask yourself how in the world that tiny dot is a 25,000 ton beast.
