Iranian Naval Capabilities

In 2005, Fariborz Haghshenass started the conversation with Iran's Air Forces: Struggling to Maintain Readiness. In late 2006, he followed up with a very good report on Iranian naval forces with Iran's Doctrine of Asymmetric Naval Warfare.

This month Fariborz Haghshenass has put together a very compelling report Iran's Asymmetric Naval Warfare, a 40 page report that does good job of highlighting the capabilities Iran is developing to challenge competitors at sea.

This piece has a lot of content, so rather than jumping in with a single post we want to highlight the report, and come back to it as a theme in the near future.
